This is my final outcome!!

I used this wallpaper which i created by myself as my laptop's wallpaper :)

Step 2

After decided the A4 size, i choose this image to be my e-wallpaper's background.



Next, i used magnetic lasso tools to crop the part that i dont need and only take the MMU Mascot image to put inside the background.
( i forgot to capture the screen image during this process)




For the Multimedia University logo, i just insert the it into the background and locate the image at the above to emphasize that the wallpaper is officially from MMU.
( Again, i forgot to capture image during the process )


As you can see here, the combination of 2 things that i choose earlier have been put inside my background which are the MMU Mascot and logo. I used magic wound to highlight the mmu logo background color. This time, I also tried to mix around with the color in order to find the balance tone for the font with the background color.

Resize the logo to suit the wallpaper and put it at the middle. I add label of 'Faculty of Management Open Day 2009' to emphasize the main purpose of my wallpaper.



Lastly, i also added the date and venue at below right side of the background.
for the last touch up, i arranged the images to suitable position to make it look less crowded, simple yet attractive.

Firstly, I choose A4 size for my wallpaper and set the RGB color.

Project Objective

Learning process of implementing the multiple tools using Photoshop Software in creating the e-wallpaper regarding ‘MMU FOM Open Day’. In this wallpaper, I will be promoting Management Faculty to the freshies and the outsider and give them some knowledge towards benefit of joining FOM in future


Approach

I’m creating e-wallpaper based on the pictures that I have taken via websites and some of my snapshots using the digital camera. Then, I’ll alter them by using the Adobe Photoshop CS2. The wallpaper will be in A4 size.I will promote my faculty which is management faculty to be well known. Also, some images like FOM building, FOM students and some related sign for engineering stuff to be included there

First of all before creating the wallpaper, I set colour mode to RGB. I used few images such as, mmu logo, students picture, mmu mascot, and FOM building image. There are few basic tools that I used to create my wallpaper. Such as, mask layer, some tools from the filter gallery, lasso, crop, text, distort, twirl, drop shadow and inner shadow. There will be some changes before I finish up my work. I will update the process of creating my wallpaper on my blog soon. I used full use of the internet to find some video about photoshop experts and I learnt a lot from the videos. The making process are be explained in detail in my blog.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1st phase : Idea is sketched, and images are searched from the internet.

2nd phase : I played with the images by adding effects and trying all the tools to learn more.

3rd phase : I will look through some videos to learn from it and imply on work.

4th phase : 50%-80% work done. Consultation with Madam Lydia

5th phase : Last editing. Submission of Assignment 2

Comment

This assignment 2 give me challenging for creating the creativity in terms of promoting my own faculty. I need to search more ideas in creating it. But I try to make it fun since Photoshop really make me to explore more in order to appreciate more the usefulness of using this software
